1) Who I Am
buildwithjuliet is a one-person automation and AI agent building practice. I build custom automations and AI agents for founders who want to stop doing repetitive admin work themselves.
If you have questions, contact me at: support@buildwithjuliet.com
2) What I Offer
- Custom Automation Builds: a one-time setup fee to build your custom agent, plus a monthly fee for hosting, maintenance, and support once it's live.
- SmartInboxCleanup: a self-serve, one-time Gmail cleanup product. Its own dedicated terms are linked at the bottom of this page.
Where a specific product needs to say more, that detail lives on that product's own page.
3) Payment
Payment for custom builds is made by invoice, typically to a virtual USD account (paid via ACH or Wise) or directly via Airtm if you already use it. I avoid international wire transfers where possible, since they carry higher fees on both ends. SmartInboxCleanup is paid online through Paystack, details are on its own page.
4) How Billing Starts
The setup fee is paid before your automation is built. For Simple and Basic builds, 50% starts the work and the other 50% is due when I deliver. For Custom builds, the deposit starts from 25% and is agreed with you in writing before I begin, with the balance due when I deliver.
Your setup fee covers the build itself and includes your first month of hosting and maintenance at no extra charge, so you can see how the automation actually performs before committing to an ongoing fee. Monthly billing begins the month after your build is delivered, and is paid monthly in advance.
5) Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, and I won't push back on your reasons or make you justify the decision. If you're leaving because something about the service wasn't working for you, I'd genuinely appreciate hearing about it, not as a condition of cancelling, just because it helps me improve, but that's entirely optional.
- If your automation runs on my server, it stays live through the end of the month you've already paid for, then I shut it down.
- If it runs on your own infrastructure, I stop active maintenance at the end of the paid month, and you're free to revoke any access I have whenever you'd like, whether that's at that point or earlier.
6) Non-Payment
If a monthly payment is missed, I'll reach out with a reminder. You'll have a one-week grace period before I pause the automation, so a missed payment never means an instant, silent shutdown.
7) Ownership
- If your automation runs on your own server or your own n8n, you own everything built there outright. I'll still keep my own copy of what I built for my own reference and reuse, that doesn't take anything away from your ownership.
- If it runs on my server, I own what's built while it's there, but if you ever want to move it to your own infrastructure, I'll export and hand over the working file to you at no extra charge, since your setup fee already paid for its creation.
- Either way, I keep my own copy of what I built for my own records and future reuse of my own methods. This doesn't take anything away from what you have, it just means I retain my own working files too.
8) What the Monthly Fee Covers
The monthly fee covers maintaining and keeping your existing agreed automation running smoothly. Adding a new node, workflow, or feature beyond what was originally built is scoped and charged separately. If an addition meaningfully increases the ongoing complexity of what I'm maintaining, your monthly fee will increase to reflect that added work.
9) Refunds
If you pay and change your mind before any work has started, you'll get a full refund. Once I've started building, refunds are no longer available, you'll receive the finished workflow itself, but not a refund of the payment. SmartInboxCleanup has its own refund terms, linked at the bottom of this page.
10) Your Responsibilities
To build well and on time, I need clear, accurate information about what you want automated, and the fastest way to reach you in case something urgent comes up mid-build. I also need the actual permissions and credentials for whichever apps we're automating, since API setup is a technical process I handle directly rather than asking you to configure yourself. I keep this access only as long as needed to build and confirm everything is running correctly, and you can revoke it at any time as described above.
11) Limitation of Liability
Everything I build is provided as-is. While I take care to build and test carefully, I can't guarantee it will be error-free at all times. To the extent permitted by law, my total liability for any issue is limited to the amount you paid for the service. I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business, data, or opportunity.
12) Timelines
Build and processing times vary depending on complexity and real-time conditions with the third-party services involved, and are not guaranteed to complete within a fixed timeframe, though most builds and jobs move quickly. You'll be kept informed as work progresses.
13) Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of any buildwithjuliet service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
